On November 29th, the book club met to discuss our November book and celebrate the holidays with a Christmas cookie exchange. We had 16 Belles attend - our largest book club meeting ever!

Thank you to Kathy Sherlock ‘84 for hosting such a large and fun gathering!

Our November book club pick was Driving Miss Norma: One Family's Journey Saying "Yes" to Living by Tim Bauerschmidt and Ramie Liddle. We were lucky enough to have one of the authors, Ramie Liddle, join our meeting via Zoom. It was great to hear her discuss the writing process for the book, how their roadtrip around the US with Miss Norma changed their lives and what happened after the book.

We also had a Christmas cookie exchange. All the Belles brought their favorite desserts for everyone to take home with them. In addition to the cookies, we did a “Blind Date with a Book” which is where you wrap up a favorite book, write a few clues on the wrapping and then exchange them white elephant style. We had a great time guessing the book titles and stealing books from each other.

Thank you to all the Belles who participated in book club this year! Check out our year in review book club stats below and join us in 2024!
