We had a lovely rooftop gathering at Basia's in Lincoln Park with 15 Belles! Everyone brought a little something to share for a fun BBQ, we stayed dry, and we even saw some fireworks! In general, everyone had a positive reading experience. Even with such a big group, we had a deep discussions about identity, race, reinvention, privilege, and more and also how they related to our experiences at SMC and becoming adults within our individual family constructs.
